Altered Books

I was browsing Dick Blick for some art supplies and came upon this lesson for altered books. Just thought it might be a fun resource. I need to confirm for sure, but I heard that you can get old books from the Columbus Metropolitan Library to use for projects. I need to check with Stephanie Rond but it would be great to combine this lesson idea with the process of Austin Kleon and attempt to highlight words from the book to create meaning. Let me know if anyone is interested and I’ll see about getting books. It would be great addition to the end of the year show.
