I am looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and really anxious to hear the student response to this experience. I was doing some last minute research and came across an article from 2012 about Tião Carlos dos Santos. I am sure that many of your students may question how sustainable this experience was for some of the catadores past the initial few months after the experience. We kind of got a sense of some of the initial effects at the end of the film but is it still sustaining almost 4 years later? Is that important? I’ll be on the look out for more articles that address this question.
